Membership grew steadily in the first year to about 600 members and to more than 2,000 after three years. After five years in existence, the number of members registered with the Academy had topped 4,000.
In 2002, as a result of generous funding by the German government and the government of the State of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, the Academy became the ideal home and platform for the e-learning elements of MBA courses on international and intercultural management and on Business English at the Fachhochschule Konstanz University of Applied Sciences, Germany.
This purpose was extended to cover bachelor and master courses in Asian Studies and Management at the university in 2004.
This was also the year in which the Fachhochschule Konstanz University of Applied Sciences, Germany bought dialogin The Delta Intercultural Academy from its original cooperation partner, GIP am IMBSE e.V., which in the meantime had become Thinkhouse GmbH.
dialogin The Delta Intercultural Academy was relaunched in its current form in November 2005.
